Aleksandra Popović

Chairperson of the Board of Directors

 

Aleksandra Popovic is Chairperson of the Board of Directors of Lovćen banka. Since the establishment of the bank in August 2014 to October 2016, she served as Chief Executive Officer. The bank was established thanks to her vision to contribute to sustainable economic development and better living conditions of the country, with the desire to use her rich experience in contracting and arranging credit lines from foreign sources to finance Montenegrin projects in the field of tourism, infrastructure, manufacturing and services, with special emphasis on support to SME sector. This was a process in which, under her leadership, microfinance institution MFI Kontakt AD grew into Lovćen Bank, supported by DEG - one of the largest investment and development institutions in Europe that is focused on investments of small and medium-sized enterprises in developing countries.


Along with the constant work on professional advancement, during her career she directed her energy and power to the promotion of the Montenegrin economy and banking at numerous international conferences and panels, to partnerships and cooperation with reputable international financial institutions, as well as new development projects, among which the work on establishing of Crnogorska Komercijalna Banka as a significant banking brand, to coordination of strategic communication in the process of sale of Crnogorska Komercijalna Banka to OTP Bank, membership in the Board of Directors of CKB, administration and management of business operation of Microcredit financial institution Kontakt AD Podgorica.


Banking career of Aleksandra Popović, which began in 2001, was preceded by a ten-year work in other companies among which employment in public company Post of Montenegro at the position of Advisor for International Business.


Aleksandra Popovic graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Montenegro, in 1990.

Dr Andreas Zeisler

Member of the Board of Directors

 

Dr. Zeisler is the Member of the Board of Directors of Lovćen banka. He was delegated to this position in the Board by DEG, German Development Fund in which he occupies the position of Head of Financial Institutions, having more than 30 years of global experience in project financing and corporate crediting, investments of private equity and strategic and operational emerging markets management.


During his employment he was:

- Responsible for DEG's investment program in the financial institutions sector with over 400 million worth annual investment in new projects 

- Supervising several DEG-s most profitable investments of private equity in Central and Eastern Europe 

- Administering DEG's main account for private equity investments which represents a nucleus of future private equity department in DEG

- Founder of DEG's private equity fund in St. Petersburg, Russia

- Successfully restructured several companies from DEG's portfolio

- Worked in numerous advisory boards and private equity investment committees and boards of directors of companies in which DEG invested 

- Represented DEG at the Steering Committee of international financial institutions for private equity funds


He started his career in 1983 in the Ministry of Finance, eastern Berlin; from 1990 to 1993 he was employed in DAV as business consultant for small and medium enterprises for financial matters including privatization, and since 1993 he has been engaged in DEG on different positions.


Dr. Zeisler has PhD degree in economics – University of Economics in Berlin

Blagota Radović

Member of the Board of Directors, Deputy Chairperson

 

Blagota Radović is a member of the Board of Directors of Lovćen Bank. He was born on 25 September 1958 in Podgorica. He graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Podgorica.


He started his career in 1987 in Electric Power Supply company of Montenegro, however, already in 1989 he started with private business.


In 1998 he founded Zetagradnja doo, private company for design, engineering and construction of housing and commercial facilities.


In parallel to this, from 1999 to 2006, in cooperation with Italian partners, he founded and worked on the project Sun Ice Cream – factory for production and distribution of ice cream.


In the period 2003-2007 he was a majority owner and executive director of Zetatrans AD, company for international transport and freight.

Dr Frieder Wöhrmann

Member of the Board of Directors

 

Dr. Frieder Wöhrmann has been a member of the Board of Directors of Lovćen Banka since July 2018.


Dr. Wöhrmann is an internationally experienced executive and non-executive director who has led and managed financial institutions involved in finance development and microfinance for more than 18 years.


He acquired extensive experience in strategic planning, institutional development, business development and management supervision, as well as experience in positioning of socially and ecologically responsible institutions in the commercial financial sector, during his long consulting work in the field of SME banking and microfinance, management development and internal control systems, risk management, alternative distribution channels, business strategy supervision and business plan implementation. He has occupied management positions in different financial institutions since 2002 when he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Micro Enterprise Bank, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and continued as Chief Executive Officer of ProCredit Bank Kosovo, ProCredit Bank Albania and ProCredit Bank, Bosnia and Herzegovina. In the period 2007-2009 he also occupied the position of Director General of the ProCredit Regional Academy of Eastern Europe. Working on various projects, he had overall responsibility for organizational development, staff recruitment and management selection in donor-funded banking institutions (KfW, IFC, EBRD, FMO) and ethical finance institution building projects, and was a member of supervisory boards, audit committees and board of directors of various financial institutions. Today he is a member of the Board of Directors of MF Bank Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Credit Rural e Kosoves (KrK) Kosovo. He is also a member of the Advisory Board Dr. Pendl & Piswanger Executive Search, Serbia. 


Dr. Wöhrmann was born in 1967 in Münster, Germany.


He received his doctorate degree at the Ruhr Universität Bochum and received the prestigious Magna Cum Laude honor.

Mirjana Perendija

Member of the Board of Directors


Mirjana Perendija is a member of the Board of Directors of Lovćen Bank and Chairperson of the Audit Committee. She was born on 22 September 1955. She graduated from the Faculty of Economics, University of Belgrade.


Mirjana has long been CEO of Ernst & Young office in Serbia. She is primarily responsible for developing relationships with clients - companies from the financial services sector. Mirjana was engaged as a partner / executive director of audits in almost all banks operating in Serbia - from international banking groups to local banks of different sizes. She worked as a consultant of large banks in Serbia and has extensive knowledge of the local banking sector as a result of her long career.


Her extensive experience includes various advisory projects: the transformation process and performance improvement, support to the implementation of the Basel II standards, financial analysis, financial diagnostic studies and reports, mergers acquisitions and acquisitions, internal audits, processes before privatization, IFRS conversions and implementation, IFRS consultation and other services.

Dr Klaus Ekkehard Glaubitt

Member of the Board of Directors


Dr Klaus Glaubit is the Member of the Board of Directors of Lovćen banka. 


He was born on 16 September 1944 in Allenstein. He completed university studies at the Department of Economics at the Ruhr-University of Bochum, where he was awarded a master's and doctoral degree. 


Dr Klaus Glaubit performs a number of functions among which we point out:

- The member of the Board of Directors of ProCredit Bank JSC Belgrade from 2001 - present (from 2001 to 2008 – the Chairman of the Board of Directors)

- The member of the Supervisory Board of ProCredit Bank JSC B&H for 11 years, of which the last four years on the position of the Chairman of that Board –ended his term of office in August 2014

- The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ProCredit Bank Kosovo from January 2000 to mid-2012

- The position of the member of the Advisory Board of DWM shareholders (developing world markets) from January 2014 - present, as well as the position of the Honorary President of the Advisory Group of the European Fund for Southeast Europe from January 2012

- From January 2012 - present holds the position of the Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Microfinance Enhancement Facility (MEF) 

- From July 2012 - present the President of the MEF's ALCO Committee

- From March 2011 to February 2012 he provided advisory services to KfW Bank

Jan Dewijngaert

Member of the Board of Directors


Jan Dewijngaert is Regional Director EECA & Director Private Equity. EECA stands for Eastern Europe and Central Asia. He is responsible for coordinating Incofin’s entire EECA portfolio, both debt and equity.
Jan has 6 years of experience in impact investing and next to Lovcen Banka, he is a Board member of Crystal (Georgia), Inecobank (Armenia) and Bank Arvand (Tadjikistan). He is also member of the Supervisory Board of FIEC (Financial Inclusion Equity Council). He joined Incofin in 2015 as Director Private Equity.

Prior to Incofin, Jan was a partner at Gimv, a European Private Equity firm. While at Gimv, he founded and managed 7 funds that focused on investments in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Russia and Kazakhstan.  He was a member of the Investment Committee of 10 private equity funds and a regular speaker on international conferences on private equity in CEE. Prior to Gimv, he worked in the area of international loans at KBC Bank in Brussels, New York and Bremen.
Jan holds a Msc. in Construction Engineering and in Industrial Policy at the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium). He also followed the Advanced Management Program at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
    Dr Vinko Nikić

    Chief Executive Officer

     

    Vinko Nikić is in Lovćen Bank since its establishment in August 2014. The references that recommended him for engagement in Lovćen Bank included 20 years of experience on various management positions, of which more than 15 years in accounting and finance. Current position of CEO includes powers in the executive management of the Bank, in representing and acting for the Bank,  in managing human and other resources, reporting on the operations to the Board of Directors and other interested parties and other tasks in accordance with the law and the Bank's Articles of Association.


    He came to Lovćen Bank from the position of Manager of PricewaterhouseCoopers Montenegro where he worked from 2012-2014. Before that, he was employed by Tranšped Belgrade from 1992-1999, as a branch manager in Kotor, and Jugopetrol AD Kotor from 1999-2012, where he covered various positions, from Head of Accounting and Finance, to the CFO.In addition to the obligations at the Bank, Vinko Nikić is a professor at the Faculty for Mediterranean Business Studies in Tivat and at the Maritime Faculty in Bar, where was the Dean until recently.


    He is the current Chairman of the Management Board of the Institute of Certified Accountants of Montenegro and member of the Assembly of FEE (the European Federation of Accountants), based in Brussels.


    Vinko Nikić is also vice president of the Association of Managers of Montenegro (AMM), as a full member of the European Association of Managers.


    For several years now, he has been a regular participant of many international conferences and workshops of the World Bank.He was a member of the working groups for drafting legislation primarily in the field of accounting and finance.


    Vinko Nikić graduated from the Kotor Faculty of Maritime Studies - organizational sciences department, and received his master's degree from the Faculty of Economics, University of Montenegro in Podgorica. He earned his doctorate at the Faculty of Economics in Podgorica with the thesis titled: "Free zones used for the increase of exports and employment incentives".

    Draško Trninić

    Executive Director for Retail, Treasury and Call Center

     

    Draško Trninić has been in Lovćen Banka since April 2015. He is currently occupying the position of Executive Director for Retail, Treasury and Call Center.


    He started his banking career in Komercijalna Banka AD Budva, where he occupied various positions in Funds, Placements and Payment Operations Division. After achieving significant results, he was promoted to Executive Director for Corporate Business of Komercijalna Banka AD Budva.


    Since 2015, he has been Advisor to Chief Executive Officer of Lovćen Banka for corporate business and then Director of Retail Division. Communication skills, excellent knowledge of banking processes and regulations, as well as a large client portfolio recommended him for the position of Executive Director for Retail with Branch Network which he took over in December 2016.


    In addition to the obligations in the Bank, Draško Trninić is also an Assistant at the Faculty of Management in Herceg Novi, for the subject Banking Business.

    Daniela Golubović

    Executive Director for risk management, accounting and finance, Back Office and security

     

    Daniela Golubović started her engagement at Lovcen Bank in 2014 as Director of Risk Management Division responsible for credit risk management, liquidity risk, interest rate risk, currency risk, market risk, capital adequacy management and operational risk. He is currently Executive Director for risk management, accounting and finance, Back Office and security.


    She started her banking career at NLB Bank AD Podgorica, in the corporate sector, and from 2006-2014 was the Head of Risk Management department.
